Question : How does Emu oil help treat Eczema?

Answer: As an anti-inflammatory Emu Oil relieves the symptoms of Eczema by softening the skin, reducing redness and itchiness and overall inflammation. Further, Emu oil helps hydrate your skin by deeply  passing through each layer of the epidermis, which allows the Emu oil to completely treat your eczema, rather than simply being a ‘top layer skin’ treatment.

Question: How should I use Emu oil to treat my Eczema?

Answer: Emu oil can be used both as a topical treatment and an internal (oral) treatment, and is even more effective if you combine both methods. Although Eczema may differ from person to person, the key to any successful treatment is consistency.

Emu oil topical application: Apply directly to your Eczema and surrounding areas morning and night. If your Eczema becomes irritated throughout the day, simply apply more Emu oil to the area and allow it to hydrate and relieve your skin.

Emu oil also makes a great ‘in-bath treatment’, especially for children. Add a few drops of oil into the bath or apply to damp skin after bathing and pat dry.
